After a decline on Monday, overnight ratings for the 2012 London Olympics bounced back Tuesday night.
Tape delayed primetime coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics drew a 19.6 overnight rating on NBC Tuesday, up 3% from Beijing in 2008, according to Sports Business Daily.
Overnight ratings for the comparable night of the 2004 Athens Olympics were not immediately available.
The 19.6 marks a 12% rise from primetime coverage the previous night (17.5), but an 18% decline from primetime action one week earlier (24.0).
