The unbeaten Blackhawks have continued their red-hot start on CSN Chicago. Meanwhile, the last-place Capitals are up double-digits on CSN Mid-Atlantic, and Tuesday’s college hoops clash between Indiana and Michigan State neared a season-high on ESPN.
Blackhawks Continue Ratings Roll
- Tuesday’s Canucks/Blackhawks NHL game earned a 7.41 rating on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the highest rating ever for a Blackhawks regular season game on the network. The previous CSN Chicago record was a 6.31 for Red Wings/Blackhawks on January 27. The Blackhawks have now attracted their ten largest regular season ratings this season alone, setting all-time records on three different occasions. The team’s 13-game average of 5.18 is up 77% from last year and tops the Bulls’ first-half average of 3.37 by 54%. (Comcast SportsNet)

- Despite their disappointing start to the season, the Washington Capitals averaged a 1.79 rating on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic through the first 13 telecasts of the season — up 10% from the first 13 games of last season. The Capitals are currently dead last in the Eastern Conference. (washingtonpost.com)
