- ESPN college basketball analyst Bill Raftery has left the network to join Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports announced Wednesday. Raftery will serve as the lead college basketball analyst for FS1, working alongside Gus Johnson on regular season and Big East Tournament games. Despite adding Fox Sports duties, Raftery will continue to work college basketball games on CBS. (Fox Sports)
ESPN Extends Herbstreit Through 2022
- ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has agreed to an eight-year contract extension with the network. Herbstreit, who has been the lead analyst for ESPN/ABC college football coverage since 2006, will call one national semifinal and the national championship game each year once the new college football playoff begins in 2014-15.
