Facing tough competition from the baseball playoffs, NFL Network hit a season-low for “Thursday Night Football” last week.
The Week 7 Seahawks/Cardinals “Thursday Night Football” game drew a 3.8 U.S. rating and 6.0 million viewers on NFL Network last week, down 14% in ratings and viewership from Seahawks/49ers last year (4.4, 7.0M).
Seahawks/Cardinals ranks as the season’s lowest rated and least-viewed regularly scheduled game on NFL Network, and the first to slip under a 4.0 rating.
The game was trounced head-to-head by Game 5 of the Red Sox/Tigers ALCS on FOX (5.4, 8.6M). The gap was narrower among adults 18-49, though baseball still came out ahead (2.5 to 2.3).
