NBC Networks Up Big For EPL Championship Sunday
- Ten NBC Universal networks combined to earn a 1.6 overnight rating for EPL Championship Sunday, up 79% from coverage on five networks in 2012 (0.9). Last year’s Championship Sunday aired on just two Nielsen-rated networks — ESPN2 and Fox Soccer — and earned a combined 0.2 overnight. ABC Sees Better Numbers For Second IndyCar Race of Season
- The inaugural IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Indianapolis earned a 0.9 overnight rating on ABC Saturday afternoon, a 50% increase over the network’s season opener from St. Petersburg (0.6). There was no comparable IndyCar telecast last year or in 2012. (Sun. overnight from Sports Business Daily)

- Sunday’s Cubs/Pirates Sunday Night Baseball game earned a 6.4 rating on ESPN in Pittsburgh, the network’s highest rated MLB telecast ever in the market. Nationally, the game had a 1.0 overnight. (ESPN)
