In a rarity, all three college football games on Fox Sports 1 last week crossed the million viewers threshold.
Last Saturday’s Baylor/West Virginia game drew a 1.0 final rating and 1.6 million viewers on FS1, up 100% in ratings and 113% in viewership from Texas Tech/West Virginia last year (0.5, 770K) and the fourth-most watched college football game ever on the network (dates back to last season).
The only games to earn a larger audience on FS1 all took place last season — Oregon/Washington in week seven (1.0, 1.8M), Oklahoma/Baylor in week eleven (1.3, 2.1M) and Oregon State/Oregon in week fourteen (1.3, 2.2M).
In other action on FS1, Oklahoma State/TCU drew a 0.6 and 1.0 million later in the afternoon and Washington/Oregon drew a 0.5 and 1.1 million in primetime. There were no games in the comparable windows last year. Last Saturday marked the first time that FS1 has topped 1 million viewers for multiple college football games in the same day.
The Thursday night game between Utah and Oregon State, originally scheduled for FS1 but moved to FS2 due to the baseball playoffs, drew a 0.1 and 86,000 viewers.
