F1 From Canada Down From Last Year
- Formula 1 racing from Canada earned a 0.8 final rating and 1.0 million viewers on NBC last Sunday afternoon, down a tick in ratings and 33% in viewership from last year (0.9, 1.5M), but up a tick and 5%, respectively, from 2013 (0.7, 950K). The 0.8 rating ranks fifth out of the ten F1 telecasts on NBC since the network acquired rights.
Over 1M For Germany/Ivory Coast Women’s World Cup Match
- Last Sunday’s Germany/Ivory Coast FIFA Women’s World Cup match had a 0.8 final rating and 1.3 million viewers on the FOX broadcast network, the second-largest audience of the event through Wednesday. Only Monday’s USA/Australia match on Fox Sports 1 attracted more viewers (3.3M). Earlier Sunday, the Norway/Thailand match drew a 0.6 and 847,000. The last time group play matches aired on broadcast — 2003 — ABC earned ratings of 0.9 and 1.3 for matches involving the USA.
PBC Ties Lowest Rating on Broadcast
- The latest edition of the Premier Boxing Champions series drew a 0.8 final rating and 1.2 million viewers on NBC last Saturday, flat and up 20%, respectively, from coverage on the network two weeks earlier (0.8, 1.0M). The 0.8 rating is tied as the lowest for a PBC event on broadcast.
