Tour de France Still Most-Watched Since 2010
- Live coverage of the Tour de France averaged 336,000 viewers on NBCSN through Sunday’s Stage 15, up 18% from the comparable point last year (284K) and the highest average since Lance Armstrong last raced in 2010. Stage 15 was the most-watched thus far on NBCSN, scoring 394,000 viewers.
Slight Drop For NASCAR Xfinity From New Hampshire
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from New Hampshire drew 1.3 million viewers on NBCSN Saturday afternoon, down 1% from last year on ESPN2 (1.35M to 1.33M) and down 36% from 2013 on broadcast network ABC (2.1M). Of the eighteen Xfinity Series telecasts this year, it ranks 12th in viewership.
FS1 Sees Drop For Dodgers/Nationals
- Saturday’s Dodgers/Nationals Major League Baseball game drew 460,000 viewers on Fox Sports 1, down 16% from last year’s exclusive Cardinals/Brewers telecast (546K). The Indians/Reds nightcap had 444,000. In subsequent action, another Dodgers/Nationals matchup drew 430,000 viewers on TBS Sunday, and Mets/Nationals drew 546,000 on ESPN’s Monday Night Baseball.
