FOX eked out an increase for Sunday’s NFL singleheader window.
The Week 10 NFL singleheader, featuring Vikings/Raiders in 27% of markets and Lions/Packers in 26%, drew an 11.7 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — up 4% from coverage on CBS last year (11.2), but down 5% from coverage on FOX featuring either Packers/Eagles or Panthers/49ers in 2013 (12.3).
The 11.7 is tied as the fourth-highest overnight for the singleheader this season (ten telecasts), with FOX having aired six of the top seven.
Sunday’s telecast was just the sixth of 15 on FOX this season to score an increase in the metered markets, compared to 12 of 24 on CBS (including Thursday Night Football), ten of eleven on NBC and five of ten on ESPN.
