MLB on FOX Overnights Up Opposite NBA
- Regional Major League Baseball action on FOX delivered a 1.7 overnight rating Saturday night, according to ShowBuzz Daily, and a 1.6 according to Sports Business Daily — either way up double-digits from last year’s 1.3. The increase came despite competition from Game 6 of the NBA’s Western Conference Finals on TNT (7.9).
F1 Monaco GP Overnights Flat
- The Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix earned a 1.1 overnight rating on NBC Sunday morning, matching both last year and 2014 to rank as NBC’s second-highest rated F1 telecast in the metered markets (13 telecasts). The top spot belongs to the 2013 Monaco race, the first F1 telecast to air on the NBC broadcast network (1.3).
Overnights For Prefontaine Classic Down a Third From 2012
- The track and field Prefontaine Classic earned a 0.8 overnight rating on NBC late Saturday afternoon, down 20% from last year (1.0) but even with 2014. Overnights also dropped a third from 2012, the last time the event took place in an Olympic year (1.2).
