Super Bowl Pregame Overnights Slip
- The four-and-a-half-hour Super Bowl pregame show averaged a 12.2 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, down 6% from last year on CBS (13.0). Overnights for NBC in 2015 were not available. Compared to the last time FOX carried the Super Bowl, 2014, pregame overnights fell 5% from a 12.9.
Undisputed Super Bowl Special Down 41%
- A special edition of the Fox Sports 1 show “Undisputed” had a 1.7 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, down 41% from Road to the Super Bowl in the same timeslot on CBS last year (2.9). Comparable overnights for NBC in 2015 were not available. When FOX last carried the Super Bowl in 2014, it scored a 2.0 in the timeslot for Road to the Super Bowl.
NFL Honors Hits Three-Year Low
- The NFL Honors awards show drew a 2.1 overnight rating on FOX Saturday night, down 36% from last year on CBS (3.3), down 30% from 2015 on NBC (3.0) and the smallest overnight ever for the event since FOX last aired coverage in 2014 (2.0). Despite the dip, the telecast tied competing coverage of the Cavaliers/Knicks NBA game on ABC.
