The latest edition of the UFC on FOX tied a months-old record-low rating.
UFC on FOX 24 earned a 1.2 final rating and 2.0 million viewers Saturday night, down 14% in ratings and 20% in viewership from last April (1.4, 2.5M) and down 20% and 27% respectively from April 2015 (1.5, 2.7M). Compared to the previous edition of UFC on FOX in January, ratings dropped a tick and viewership 9% from a 1.3 and 2.2 million.
The telecast, which peaked with 2.9 million viewers from 10-10:15 PM ET, tied UFC on FOX 21 last August as the lowest rated edition of the series. It also earned the second-smallest UFC audience ever on FOX, ahead of the August telecast (2.00M to 1.98M).
Head-to-head, UFC on FOX trailed the Grizzlies-Spurs NBA playoff game on ESPN in ratings (1.9), viewership (3.2M), adults 18-49 (1.2 to 0.7) and adults 18-34 (1.2 to 0.5). It also trailed the combined audience of the Predators-Blackhawks and Maple Leafs-Capitals Stanley Cup playoff games on NBC and NBCSN (2.4M).
