Once-Loathed Vick is Now TV Analyst
- Former NFL QB Michael Vick is joining Fox Sports as an NFL analyst, USA Today reported Friday, with the decision expected to be officially announced this weekend. Vick will serve as an analyst for Fox NFL Kickoff and on Fox Sports 1. Vick, who was the object of public scorn ten years ago for his role in a dogfighting ring, joins Alex Rodriguez and Pete Rose as once-unthinkable TV personalities now working for Fox. Romo Debut Delayed
- Rookie CBS NFL analyst Tony Romo will not make his broadcasting debut on tonight’s Chiefs-Seahawks game, as originally scheduled, so he can be with his wife as she gives birth. Jim Nantz is also being let out of the assignemnt, which will allow him to cover both days of this weekend’s PGA Tour coverage on CBS. Spero Dedes and Dan Fouts will replace the duo. Leonard Joins Fox For Mayweather-McGregor Prelims
- Former boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, who has in recent years called Premier Boxing Champions bouts for NBC, CBS and Showtime, will join Fox Sports for tomorrow’s Floyd Mayweather–Conor McGregor prelims.
