Kevin Kugler of FOX Sports, the Big Ten Network and Westwood One joined the Announcer Schedules Podcast for an insightful conversation with Mike Gill and Phil de Montmollin.
Kugler is a play-by-play announcer for FOX Sports’ NFL broadcasts, a role he assumed in 2020. Kugler has served as a broadcaster for the network’s coverage of MLB, college basketball and the USFL. In addition to his FOX duties, Kugler serves as an announcer of Westwood One’s national NFL coverage which previously included weekly Sunday Night Football matchups from 2013-19. Kugler also currently serves as the national radio voice for the NCAA Tournament and the NCAA Men’s Final Four — a role that dates back to 2008. He has also covered The Masters and five Olympics for Westwood One Additionally, Kugler has been a longtime mainstay at the Big Ten Network, calling football, basketball and baseball for the network.
A nine-time Nebraska Sportscaster of the Year, Kugler was recently presented with the NCBWA Russell D. Anderson/Wilbur Snypp Award for national contributions to college baseball.
