Starting this year, the New York City Marathon will be televised live on ESPN2.
ESPN has agreed to a five-year deal with New York Road Runners to televise the New York City marathon. As part of the deal, the marathon will air live on ESPN2 and WatchESPN from 9:00 AM ET to 12:30 PM, with ABC airing a two-hour highlight show.
Local ABC affiliate WABC will also televise the marathon live, airing coverage from 9 AM to 2 PM.
