Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals’ comeback from a 3-1 deficit has led to record ratings in Washington.
The Capitals’ Game 6 victory over the Flyers drew a 3.8 rating on Monday night, the highest local rating ever for a Washington Capitals telecast. The game, which the Capitals won 4-2, “averaged 320,000 [households] on Comcast SportsNet (CSN) Philadelphia and CSN Mid-Atlantic, both records for the Capitals in DC and Baltimore.”
The game also set records in key demographics, pulling in a 2.6 among adults 18-49, a 4.5 among men 18-49, and a 4.2 among men 25-54.
