Three prominent members of the ‘Sunday Night Football’ broadcast team will anchor coverage of the 2012 London Olympics on NBC.
Al Michaels and Dan Patrick will join ‘Sunday Night Football’ colleague Bob Costas as hosts for coverage of the 2012 London Olympics on NBC, the network announced Thursday.
Costas, as usual, will host primetime coverage on NBC. Michaels and Patrick, meanwhile, will anchor daytime coverage on both weekdays and weekends.
This will be the second Olympic assignment for Michaels since he joined NBC in 2006 and the first for Patrick since he joined the network in 2008.
