Overnight ratings dropped slightly for the NFL singleheader window on FOX.
The Week 3 NFL singleheader, featuring Buccaneers/Cowboys in 32% of markets, earned a 12.2 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — down 2% from coverage on CBS last year (12.5), and down 13% from coverage featuring Cowboys/Texans on FOX in 2010 (14.0).
This is the second straight week overnight ratings have declined by just 2% for the singleheader.
Sunday’s telecast finished well behind both the NFL national window on CBS (14.9) and “Sunday Night Football” on NBC (14.3).
