With a Keystone State showdown in most markets, FOX earned big numbers for the NFL singleheader on Sunday.
The Week 5 NFL singleheader window, featuring Eagles/Steelers in 39% of markets, earned a 12.5 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — up 17% from coverage featuring Eagles/Bills last year (10.7), but down 2% from coverage featuring Packers/Washington in 2010 (12.7).
The 12.5 overnight is the second-highest of the season for the NFL singleheader, behind only coverage on FOX in Week 2 (13.3).
Sunday’s telecast topped NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” (11.7), but trailed the NFL national window on CBS (15.7).
