Arguably the game of the week in college football, Saturday’s SEC clash between Florida and South Carolina could not match last year’s comparable game.
The Florida/South Carolina college football game drew a 3.3 overnight rating on CBS Saturday afternoon, down 6% from Auburn/Louisiana State last year (3.5), and down 30% from Louisiana State/Auburn in 2010 (4.7).
The telecast earned the second-best college football overnight of the day, trailing “Saturday Night Football” on ABC (3.5).
Head-to-head, Florida/South Carolina topped BYU/Notre Dame on NBC (2.7), regional action on ABC (2.4), and Stanford/California on FOX (0.7).
