The second classic game of the Divisional Round earned strong numbers on FOX.
Sunday’s Seahawks/Falcons NFC Divisional Round game drew a 19.3 final rating and 32.1 million viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen fast-nationals — up 2% in ratings and 4% in viewership from Texans/Ravens on CBS last year (19.0, 31.0M), and up 1% and down 1%, respectively, compared to Seahawks/Bears in 2011 (19.1, 32.5M).
The 19.3 rating is the highest for the early Sunday Divisional Round game since Cowboys/Vikings in 2010 (22.0).
Seahawks/Falcons was the only game of the Divisional Round weekend to have an increase in ratings or viewership compared to last year, and easily topped the higher-profile Packers/49ers game on FOX the previous night (16.9, 30.9M).
Locally, Sunday’s game earned a 45.6 rating in Seattle and a 39.7 in Atlanta.
