The next night, the teams’ “Sunday Night Baseball” clash earned a 1.3 U.S. rating and 1.9 million viewers on ESPN — up 30% and 34%, respectively, from Braves/Giants last year (1.0, 1.4M). - The NASCAR Nationwide Series Food City 250 from Bristol (CT) earned a 1.1 U.S. rating and nearly 1.7 million viewers on ESPN August 23, flat in ratings but up 6% in viewership from last year (1.1, 1.6M), and up 10% and 17%, respectively, from 2011 (1.0, 1.4M). (ESPN)
