The other shoe has dropped in the Charles Barkley DUI controversy.
Barkley pleaded guilty to driving under the influence on Monday and was sentenced to ten days in jail. The TNT NBA analyst will begin serving time on March 21, and will miss a TNT NBA doubleheader on Tuesday, March 24. In addition to jail time, Barkley was fined over $2,000.
The ten-day sentence will be trimmed to five days if Barkley “completes an alcohol education program.”
Barkley returned to TNT on Thursday, after serving a leave of absence for just under two months.
