A week after hitting a network-high, the CBS singleheader fell back to normal last Sunday.
The Week 15 NFL singleheader window drew a 9.7 final rating and 16.1 million viewers on CBS, down 33% in ratings and 31% in viewership from coverage on FOX featuring Washington/Giants in 2011 (14.4, 23.4M). Last year’s numbers were not available.
The 9.7 rating is the fifth-lowest of the season for the singleheader on any network (15 telecasts), but the fourth-highest for a singleheader on CBS (eight telecasts).
Six of the eight singleheader telecasts on CBS have drawn less than a 10.0 rating, compared to just one of seven such telecasts on FOX.
