Despite earning a massive audience, Saturday’s NFL playoff game between the Saints and Seahawks hit a four-year low on FOX.
The Saints/Seahawks NFC Divisional Round game drew an 18.1 final rating and 31.1 million viewers on FOX Saturday afternoon, down 10% in ratings and 12% in viewership from Ravens/Broncos on CBS last year (20.1, 35.3M), and down 12% and 13%, respectively, from Saints/49ers in 2012 (20.5, 35.6M).
Saints/Seahawks ranks as the lowest rated and least-viewed early Saturday Divisional Round game — on any network — since Cardinals/Saints in 2010 (16.1, 27.9M).
With that said, the game also ranks as the third-most viewed Saturday Divisional Round game ever on FOX (afternoon or primetime).
Locally, Saturday’s game earned a 51.4 rating in New Orleans and a 48.4 in Seattle.
