Continuing the trend of Wild Card Weekend, the early Sunday window hit a three-year viewership low on CBS.
The Bengals/Colts NFL Wild Card game drew 28.3 million viewers on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 8% from Chargers/Bengals last year (30.9M) and down 4% from Ravens/Colts in 2012 (29.6M). Ratings for the game were not immediately available.
The Colts’ win ranks as the least-watched early Sunday Wild Card game since Falcons/Giants on FOX in 2012 (27.7M). It was the third of four Wild Card games to hit a multi-year low in viewership, with both Saturday windows the least-watched since 2009.
Despite the multi-year low, Bengals/Colts ranked second out of the four Wild Card games — trailing only Lions/Cowboys on FOX (42.3M).
