The Cowboys game drew 510,450 local households, compared to 87,150 for the entire three-game Rangers/Rays series.
- Brett Favre is already having a positive effect on the ratings for the Minnesota Vikings. Favre’s first game as a Viking drew 652,000 viewers in Minneapolis Friday night, up 172% from the 240,000 viewers the Vikings’ first preseason game drew a week earlier.
- Coverage of the World Track & Field Championships drew a 1.3/4 overnight on Saturday and a 1.5/4 overnight on Sunday — flat in ratings versus comparable coverage in ’07.
