- Michael Irvin: The former ESPN NFL analyst could soon have a role with a new network. USA Today reports that NFL Network “hopes to soon sign” the Hall of Famer. Irvin was an NFL analyst for ESPN from 2003-07.
- Mike Tirico and Hannah Storm: The Monday Night Football play-by-play voice and the SportsCenter anchor will join Chris Fowler as hosts for ESPN2’s coverage of the 2009 U.S. Open. Tirico and Storm will be each be making their debut on ESPN tennis coverage.
- Kenny Smith: Could the TNT NBA analyst be on his way out? On Friday, Smith said on Twitter that “coaching or management is next … Will be super difficult to leave TNT when that happens!” It was unclear whether Smith was talking about something imminent, or speaking in general terms.
