Turner Sports is turning its team-specific Final Four coverage into a showcase for Bleacher Report.
This year’s team-specific coverage of the Final Four on TNT and TruTV has been renamed the Team Stream presented by Bleacher Report, Turner Sports announced Wednesday. The rebrand will be accompanied by an “increased amount of integrated elements between the on-air presentation and Bleacher Report” (Turner Sports, 3/25).
The telecasts will mark arguably the highest-profile promotion of Bleacher Report on Turner Sports programming. Turner acquired the website in 2012, and thus far has promoted the brand during in-game advertisements, CNN segments, and occasional specials.
As was the case last year, the Team Stream telecasts will feature announcers with ties to the participating team as well as custom graphics and music.
