Pedro Martinez Joins MLB Network, Staying With TBS
- TBS Major League Baseball analyst Pedro Martinez has joined MLB Network in the same capacity. Martinez, who will continue working for TBS, will make his debut during the opening week of the season. He joins Fox Sports’ Matt Vasgersian, John Smoltz, Harold Reynolds, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal as MLB Network personalities who moonlight for another national network. (USA Today)

Skipper Impersonator Dupes ESPN Radio Station
- A man claiming to be ESPN president John Skipper duped the ESPN Radio affiliate in Washington D.C. into delaying the premiere of its new talk show The Man Cave, according to The Washington Post. Calling from a Connecticut area code, the impersonator threatened legal action if the show was not canceled. The ruse was not discovered until station executives contacted the real Skipper.
