Astros Hit Six-Year High
- Thursday’s Angels/Astros Major League Baseball game drew a 4.7 rating on Root Sports Houston, the highest rating for the Astros on a single network in six years — since Astros/Cardinals in July 2009 (4.9). Pan Am Games Rating Up on ESPN2
- ESPN2 averaged a 0.2 rating and 268,000 viewers for 54 hours of Pan Am Games coverage, an uptick in ratings over 2011, when the network aired 20 hours (0.1). FOX Sees Increase For Man U/Barca
- The Manchester United/Barcelona International Champions Cup match drew a 0.5 final rating and 693,000 viewers on FOX last Saturday, up a tick in ratings and 25% in viewership from Manchester United/Roma on the same weekend last year (0.4, 555K). Keep in mind FOX aired two Champions Cup matches last year, with the second one — Manchester United/Real Madrid — scoring a 0.5 and 726,000. (via Sports Business Daily)
