Ernie Johnson, Chris Webber and Kevin McHale will call the December 29 Cavaliers/Hawks game for NBA TV, marking the first time the network has sent its own crew to cover a regular season NBA game. Typically, NBA TV uses local announcers for game telecasts.
Craig Sager will work the sidelines.
This will be the first time Johnson has done play-by-play for an NBA game since a 76ers/Hawks game on TBS in ’01.
