Frmer TBS MLB play-by-play voice Chip Caray has found a landing place for the 2010 season.
Caray will be the lead play-by-play voice for Braves games on FS South and SportSouth during the 2010 season, replacing Jon Sciambi. Caray will call 105 games during the 2010 season, alongside analyst Joe Simpson.
From 2005-09, Caray called Braves games on TBS, and later, Atlanta’s Peachtree TV (formerly the over-the-air version of TBS).
Caray said he is “incredibly honored for the opportunity,” and “couldn’t imagine a better situation.”
