FOX drew another strong rating for NFL coverage on Sunday.
Sunday’s NFL national window (featuring either Packers/Steelers or 49ers/Eagles) drew a 15.1 final rating and 25.8 million viewers on FOX, up 3% and 6%, respectively, compared to last year’s Week 15 national window (mostly Steelers/Ravens, CBS).
Compared to last week’s national window (Chargers/Cowboys, CBS), Sunday’s telecast was up 3% and 7%, respectively.
Sunday’s national window stands as the 5th-most viewed NFL telecast of the season, with all five of the most-viewed games having aired on FOX. The net has surpassed 25 million viewers on six occasions this season — by comparison, only one game on FOX drew at least 25 million last year.
So far this season, FOX has averaged a 15.5 rating and 26.2 million viewers for its eight NFL national windows, up 9% and 14%, respectively, from a 14.4 and 22.9 million last year.
