- Last Sunday’s Kansas/Tennessee game drew a 2.5 final rating on CBS, the highest of the season for a college basketball game on any network. The game followed the Ravens/Patriots AFC Wild Card game, which drew a 16.9. Compared to last year’s Kentucky/Louisville game, which also followed an NFL Wild Card game, Kansas/Tennessee was up 14%. - Recent NBA ratings on ESPN: The January 6 Lakers/Clippers game — ESPN’s first NBA telecast of the calendar year — drew a 1.4 U.S. rating and 2 million viewers. Two nights later, Celtics/Hawks drew a 1.2 and 2 million, while Cavaliers/Nuggets drew a 1.4 and 2.3 million. Last Sunday’s Cavaliers/Blazers game rounded out the NBA action with a 1.2 and 1.8 million. (Sports Business Daily)

Netflix officially announces expanded NFL deal
The NFL has officially reached a new deal with Netflix that will see the streamer bookend the season.
