Saturday night was alright for football.
The Colts’ win over the Ravens on Saturday drew an 18.7 overnight rating on CBS, up 18% from Cardinals/Panthers on FOX last year (15.8), but down 7% from Jaguars/Patriots on CBS in ’08 (20.2).
The 18.7 overnight is the third-highest for the late Saturday Divisional Round game since ’99, behind only the aforementioned Jaguars/Patriots game and Raiders/Patriots in ’02.
Compared to last week’s Eagles/Cowboys Wild Card game, which also aired on a Saturday night, Ravens/Colts was down 5%.
