NBC dominated Friday night with coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
The Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics drew 34.5 million viewers in primetime (8-11 PM) on NBC Friday night, according to preliminary fast affiliate ratings. NBC topped second place CBS (3.77 mil in primetime) by an amazing 814%.
Among adults 18-49, the Opening Ceremony drew a 9.4/15, topping second-place FOX (1.5/4) by 527%.
For perspective, the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics drew 35.3 million viewers and a 10.3/32 in the preliminary numbers.
