Overnights Flat For NASCAR Xfinity From Atlanta
- NASCAR Xfinity Series racing from Atlanta earned a 0.9 overnight rating on Fox Sports 1 Saturday afternoon, even with last year. Compared to the second race of the 2014 season, Phoenix on broadcast network ABC, overnights dropped 40% from a 1.5.
NBC Hits New Premier League Low
- NBC scored a 0.5 overnight rating for Saturday’s West Brom/Crystal Palace English Premier League match, the network’s lowest of the season. The previous mark was a 0.6 for Southampton/West Ham three weeks earlier. As was the case three weeks ago, NBC’s match was not the top EPL telecast of the weekend — trailing Manchester United/Arsenal on NBCSN Sunday morning (0.6).
Big East Holds Steady on FOX
- Villanova/Marquette college basketball scored a 0.5 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, even with last year’s Villanova/Xavier game. UCLA/Stanford scored a 0.4 later in the day; there was no comparable window last year.
