- The Kansas/West Virginia Big 12 Tournament final earned a 1.5 overnight rating on ESPN Saturday evening, down a tick from Iowa State/Kansas last year (1.6) but up 25% from Baylor/Iowa State in 2014 (1.2). Head-to-head, the game topped both the Mountain West championship on CBS (1.1) and the Big East title game on FOX (1.0).
Mountain West Championship Down For Third Straight Year
- The above-mentioned Mountain West Tournament final between Fresno State and San Diego State earned a 1.1 overnight rating on CBS — down a tick from Wyoming/San Diego State last year (1.2) and down 21% from San Diego State/New Mexico in 2014 (1.4). Overnights for the game have now declined in three straight years.
Overnights Dip For A-10 Title Game
- Sunday’s St. Joseph’s/VCU Atlantic-10 Tournament final had a 1.1 overnight rating on CBS, down a tick from VCU/Dayton last year (1.2) and down 27% from St. Joseph’s/VCU in 2014 (1.5). The game had the same overnight as a competing IndyCar race on ABC.
