Spike Earns Largest PBC Audience
- Coverage of the Premier Boxing Champions on Spike TV earned a 0.6 final rating and 873,000 viewers last Friday night, ranking as the network’s most-watched PBC telecast yet. The previous high was 869,000 for its inaugural telecast last March, which was the second PBC event overall.
College Hoops All-Star Game Up on CBS
- CBS scored 870,000 viewers for last Saturday’s college basketball All-Star game, up 15% from last year (758K) and up 8% from 2014 (809K). The 0.6 final rating was even with the last two years, tying the game’s highest rating since it returned to CBS in 2013.
Primetime Figure Skating Rises on NBC
- Live primetime coverage of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships earned a 1.8 final rating and 2.6 million viewers on NBC last Saturday, up 20% in ratings and 22% in viewership from last year (1.5, 2.2M) and up 125% and 107%, respectively, from Sunday afternoon coverage in 2014 (0.8, 1.3M). The event took place in the United States for the first time since 2009, after being hosted by China last year and Japan in 2014.
