NASCAR on TNT will feature a pair of faces in new places this season.
Speed TV pit reporter Adam Alexander has been hired as the new lead voice of NASCAR on TNT, reports USA Today. Alexander replaces Bill Weber, who was suspended midway through last season’s six-race schedule.
Alexander served as a pit reporter for TNT’s NASCAR coverage last season, filling in for Ralph Sheheen, who temporarily replaced the suspended Weber.
The addition of Alexander is not the only change to TNT’s NASCAR coverage this season. TNT pit reporter Lindsay Czarniak will serve as the new prerace and postrace host for NASCAR coverage, replacing Marc Fein.
According to USA Today, the moves will be officially announced on Thursday.
