Overnight ratings held steady, but remained less-than-stellar, for the PGA Tour Honda Classic.
Sunday’s final round of the Honda Classic, won by Camilo Villegas, drew a 1.8 overnight rating on NBC — even with last year, but down 25% from 2008 (2.5).
The 1.8 overnight is the second-lowest of the season for final round coverage of a PGA Tour event on broadcast, ahead of only the finals of the Accenture Match Play Championship (1.3).
Third round coverage on Saturday drew a 1.4 overnight, also even with last year. Compared to 2008, the overnight rating was down 18% from a 1.7.
