Overnight ratings held steady for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on CBS.
Sunday’s NCAA Tournament Selection Show drew a 4.8 overnight rating on CBS, even with last year, and up 9% from 2008 (4.4).
The 4.8 overnight is tied as the highest for the Selection Show since ’05. That said, the overnight is also tied as the fourth-lowest for the Selection Show since ’95.
For perspective, the BCS Selection Show drew a 6.4 overnight rating on FOX last December.
Meanwhile, ESPN averaged a 1.4 overnight for its Bracketology 101 special, also even with last year.
