Earlier, I wrote a post about the large numbers for the NFL Draft. However, it should be pointed out that WWE Raw on the USA Network narrowly beat the Draft in total viewers last week.
Raw, airing last Monday at 10:00 PM, finished with 5.16 million viewers, to 5.09 for the NFL Draft. A narrow victory to be sure, but a victory nonetheless. While the Draft drew more households (4.01 million to 3.6 million), observers should keep in mind that as dominant as the Draft seems to be, it still cannot beat staged professional wrestling.
Other cable ratings news:
One NBA Playoff game made the top ten programs on cable for the week ending April 29; Dallas/Golden State Game 4 on Sunday night finished with 3.7 million viewers, and was up 17% in households (2.7 million from 2.3 million) over last year’s comparable San Antonio/Sacramento Game 4.
