Less than 1% of U.S. television households tuned in to the ACC Championship Game on ESPN.
Duke’s win over Georgia Tech in the ACC title game drew a 0.9 U.S. rating and 1.3 million viewers on ESPN Sunday, down 25% and 28%, respectively, from Duke/Florida St. last year (1.2, 1.8 mil).
Compared to North Carolina/Clemson two years ago, the game was down 44% in ratings and viewership from a 1.6 and 2.3 million.
The 0.9 rating is the lowest for the ACC Championship Game since at least ’99. Additionally, this marks the only time during that span that ratings for the game have slipped below a 1.0.
Sunday’s game was blacked out in ACC territory.
