Sager to Be Honored at ESPYs
- Turner Sports broadcaster Craig Sager will be honored with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at this summer’s ESPY Awards, ESPN announced Tuesday. Sager, who has remained on air throughout the NBA Playoffs while battling a second resurgence of leukemia, is the first person from a competing media organization to be honored with any award at the event. Feherty to Work Olympics
- NBC Sports has added David Feherty to its Summer Olympics roster both as a golf analyst and general contributor. In the latter role, he will make appearances on NBC’s primetime coverage — including the Opening Ceremony — delivering presumably colorful commentary. In the former, he will serve as an analyst and reporter on Golf Channel’s coverage of the men’s golf tournament and a studio analyst for both the men’s and women’s competitions.
