The Seattle television market is putting up decent — though below average — numbers for the Thunder/Lakers playoff series.
Through Tuesday, the Thunder/Lakers series has averaged a 1.8 rating in the Seattle market.
Games 2 and 3 on TNT drew ratings of 1.5 and 1.6, respectively, in the Seattle market. By comparison, the games each drew a 2.5 nationally, and ratings of 6.3 and 15.3, respectively, in Oklahoma City.
Tuesday’s Game 5 on TNT drew a 2.2 in the Seattle market, compared to a 3.1 nationally and a 16.0 in Oklahoma City.
It should be pointed out that due to the difference in market sizes, a 2.2 rating in Seattle is the equivalent of a 5.8 rating in Oklahoma City.
Game 1 of the series drew a 1.8 rating on Seattle ABC affiliate KOMO, compared to a 3.3 nationally and an 11.8 in Oklahoma City. Game 4 drew a 2.1 on ESPN, compared to a 2.7 nationally and a 20.6 in Oklahoma City.
