Miami/Notre Dame Dips on NBC
- Last Saturday’s Miami/Notre Dame college football game had a 1.7 final rating and 2.6 million viewers on NBC, down 32% in ratings and a third in viewership from USC/Notre Dame in primetime last year (2.5, 4.0M) and down 15% and 18%, respectively, from North Carolina/Notre Dame in the afternoon two years ago (2.0, 3.2M). The game ranks third out of five telecasts on NBC this season.
F1 Mexico GP Nears Season-High
- Formula 1 racing from Mexico had a 0.5 final rating and 805,000 viewers on NBC last Sunday afternoon, flat in ratings and up 11% from last year (0.5, 722K). It was the second-most watched F1 race this season, behind Monaco in May (1.3M) and ahead of the previous week’s United States Grand Prix (727K), which also aired on NBC.
ISU GP Skate Canada on Par With Last Year
- Taped coverage of Skate Canada, the second event in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, scored a 0.7 final rating and 1.1 million viewers on NBC last Sunday — down a tick in ratings and virtually flat in viewership from last year (0.8, 1.1M) and up 40% and 75%, respectively, from 2014 (0.5, 624K).
