ESPN is going back to basics for the second half of its Monday Night Football doubleheader this year.
After three years of ESPN Radio hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic calling the late game of ESPN’s Week 1 MNF doubleheader, USA Today reports the network is expected to announce that Brad Nessler and Trent Dilfer will call this year’s game.
This will be the second time Nessler has called a Monday Night Football game for ESPN. In 2006, he joined Ron Jaworski and Dick Vermeil for Chargers/Raiders.
