All four NBA Conference Final games on cable finished in the top ten last week, with Games 1, 2 and 3 of Pistons/Cavaliers finishing #3, #4 and #5 for the week. Game 1 drew a relatively low 3.9 million viewers, though Games 2 and 3 rebounded with 4.3 and 4.4 million viewers, respectively. Estimating, the final national ratings should end up in the low 3 range.
Meanwhile, only one game between the Jazz and Spurs aired on cable during the week from May 21 – May 27. Game 2, which aired on ESPN, managed to draw only 3.4 million viewers, and finished #7 for the week.
In other ratings news, NBC Sunday Night Football finished tied with Desperate Housewives as the #8 most watched show of the entire television season. SNF was the only NBC show in the top 10, and drew an average of 17 million viewers.
